When Chris put on the NEWT plans to clear the woods of New House Farm playing fields, we were all up for it. On our first venture into the woods it all looked pretty clean...but.....then we looked further, oh my. 38 bags of rubbish and a fridge!
Here are the team as we stand at the moment. All volunteers are welcome!
We had coffee and pastries, provided by Phil and Kiera and then lunch in the Farmers Arms, A great day's work!
And I, like a Magpie, found some treasures for some art. (Well maybe not treasures for most people).
